AgriSync hires Rob Wetzeler as its CTO
Wetzeler to expand capacity around AI and cloud-scale innovation.

Waukee, IA – AgriSync, Inc., a leading software provider for ag advisors, announces it has named Rob Wetzeler as its new Chief Technology Officer. Wetzeler, brings over 17 years of software, digital, and analytical experience having served in senior leadership and technology roles in multiple organizations.
“As we continue to scale the business, we also continue to add talent and capabilities,” says Casey Niemann, AgriSync President and Founder. “Adding a CTO to the team provides us the leadership and expertise needed expand our capacity for customer service artificial intelligence (AI) and increase cloud innovation. This is big step forward for our customers and our business.”
Wetzeler will help AgriSync increase analytics capabilities, giving users greater access to insights, quicker resolutions to issues, and improved customer experience deliverable. His previous professional mix of entrepreneurial endeavors along with corporate and agency experience, gives Wetzeler a unique ability to solve complex problems using a combination of grit and innovative technology that aligns well with AgriSync's mission and strategic direction.

Wetzeler is a University of Northern Iowa graduate having earned his bachelor’s degree in management information systems (MIS) and minored in computer information systems, business, and computer science. Rob has spent his professional career working in technology related roles including serving as INTL FCStone’s Chief Information Officer and Chief Data Officer. Most recently, he served as Athene’s Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics in West Des Moines. Outside of work, Wetzeler is married and a father to three kids, two boys and a girl, and stays active outdoors hunting and snowmobiling.
