AgriSync Expands into Construction with Appointment of Jeff Bowman
As an advisor, Bowman will provide guidance as AgriSync expands platform to service the construction sector.
Waukee, IA - AgriSync, Inc., an Iowa-based communications technology firm, announces the formal appointment of Jeff Bowman as a corporate advisor. Bowman’s strategic input will guide AgriSync in providing digital collaboration solutions to the construction equipment distribution and service sector, an important adjacency to the firm’s existing markets.
“AgriSync spent our initial years focused primarily on the agriculture market,” comments Casey Niemann, AgriSync President and CEO, “but some of our customers serve both the agricultural and construction markets. After seeing the success of the AgriSync platform within these customers’ ag divisions, we identified the growing opportunity to extend the platform to the construction equipment sector. With the learnings from these crossover customers and the guidance provided by Jeff Bowman, we are well positioned to expand into the construction market and capture that opportunity.”
Based in Fargo, ND, Bowman brings a wealth of experience to AgriSync. Currently serving as Chief Experience Officer for Titan Machinery, Inc., the owner and operator of a network of full-service U.S. and European agricultural and construction equipment stores, he previously led Caterpillar, Inc.’s customer digital transformation strategy and global eBusiness. Earlier in his career, he managed areas of parts, service, and rental at Caterpillar and with Cat dealers. Bowman is a U.S. Army veteran.
“In the heavy equipment world, a digital solution that drives value throughout the entire chain—from end users to distributors to manufacturers—is very rare,” Bowman remarked about the AgriSync platform. “Seeing first-hand how AgriSync is solving that puzzle in agriculture, I’m excited to see them connect end customers to the experts they need from local jobsite back to the factory and beyond. Their growing team is talented and focused, and their platform brings human and digital together in a way that will be a force multiplier for the front lines of construction, as it is already for agriculture. I’m excited to be joining the effort,” Bowman added.
“We admire and respect Jeff’s innovative mindset, energy, and perspective, and are pleased to bring him on formally as an advisor,” Niemann said. “We look forward to leveraging Jeff’s extensive industry and digital experience as we enter into the construction segment.”
